Functions of China Agriculture Industry Chamber of Commerce (CAICC)

To disseminate and implement the government policies among the members; to guide the members to obey the national laws and regulations;to regulate the behaviour of enterprises; to promote the industry self-discipline.

II. To organize the members to study the government policies and actively participate in politics.

III. To provide the members with consultation services in the areas of economy, technology, information, production, management, financing, and laws and regulations.

IV. To organize the members to visit, study or host all kinds of exhibitions, trade fairs and other economic activities; to promote the exchange and cooperation between the members and between the industries; to guide the enterprises to participate in the competitions in domestic and international markets in an active and orderly manner; to build the platform for the enterprises to increase economic returns and social effects.

V. To organize the members in training and relevant business knowledge study to improve the quality of enterprises and employees continuously.

VI. To commend the advanced and set examples; to organize and mobilize the public opinion to publicize the model figures and their good deeds in CAICC in a timely manner; to launch the activities to learn from the advanced models; to introduce and recommend the typical good deeds and advanced experience of CAICC to All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce(ACFIC) and other relevant organizations.

VII. To establish wide contact with the chambers of commerce and other relevant organizations in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and foreign countries; to organize the members in the activities like exchange, mutual-visit and study to promote the international business and trade exchange and cooperation for the members.

VIII. To actively protect the members?legal rights and interests in domestic and international economic activities and other related fields; to report the members?opinions, suggestions, demands and difficulties to the government without delay and help the members in relieving worries and solving problems.

IX. To educate the members to study and practice the important ideology of “Three Representations? support the causes of public good, and lay stress on the construction of spiritual civilization and enterprise culture.

X. To organize the members to take part in the activities launched by ACFIC; to undertake the tasks trusted by the government and ACFIC.
